We actually have a really good video of Chad making Abe laugh hysterically, but it didn't work to upload. I guess it was too long. So this will have to do. The only thing better than a sleeping baby is a laughing one.

Tahoe
Grandma and Grandpa watched the kids while Dan & Sunny and Chad & I went on a hike. It was beautiful, and as usual when Chad plans it, took a lot longer than we thought. Sunny got tricked into the hike while 25 wks pregnant.

Apparently they were having quite reading time.
We drove up to Lake Tahoe a few weeks ago and met up with Chad's family. I think I could live there, it is amazingly beautiful. We had a great time, and Abe enjoyed his cousin Sela's undivided attention the entire weekend.

Our little bookworm
When things get quiet around here, either Abe is doing something naughty or we find him sweetly reading books. I really prefer the latter. It is pretty cute. Sometimes he will sing or babble as he reads, which melts me every time.

St. George Rendevous
Partying it up in the Super 8.
As our summer flying solo was winding down, Abe and I decided we couldn't wait the almost 2 more weeks left until Chad came home, so we planned a little rendevous with him in St. George. It was worth it. Even 30 hours of not being a single mom felt relieving and Abe was very happy to see his dad. It was incredibly hot and so most of the daylight hours were spent in water as you can see.
